About

Claire Day began her design career in NYC as set designer and stylist for film and advertising clients including New York Times Magazine, Time, Esquire, Vogue, MTV, Old Navy, among many others. Claire brings an unparalleled style and grace to all of her work. For her, it’s about one thing and always has been — finding beauty — in every endeavor she takes on.

Claire has an innate ability to discover what her clients want and need and guides them to a shared vision.  She will adhere and adapt to any set budget while making the process fun and collaborative. It is Claire’s singular passion to create roomscapes that her clients truly love and that reflect who they are and how they live.

Growing up on the Stanford Campus imbued Claire with a curiosity of the world; it’s people, languages, arts and cultures. She graduated high school early to live in Paris, study French and soak up that illusive European refinement. After a fine education Claire zigzagged between East/West coasts living, working, raising a family. She is currently happy to be a citizen of Oakland enjoying its renaissance. The energy and verve here inspires her life and work everyday.
